Sedation DentistryYou can have a healthy and beautiful smile with amazingly comfortable sedation dentistry. We care for patients with these concerns:
Advanced Antiseptic ProceduresOur sterilization procedures meet the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. We heat-sterilize all handpieces & instruments after each use. We use disposable gloves, gowns, masks, eye protection and barrier covers at all times. Our patients' safety is our top priority.
SomnoDent® MASThe SomnoDent® MAS is a Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) that treats mild, moderate and severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) by moving the lower jaw slightly forward. This movement tightens the soft tissue and muscles of the upper airway, which prevents obstruction while you sleep. The SomnoDent® MAS also prevents the tissues of the upper airway from vibrating as air passes over them, which is the major cause of snoring. The SomnoDent® MAS is designed as an alternative to the CPAP machine.
Root Canal TherapyDid you know that each tooth contains a long, thin strand of dental pulp that provides the tooth with nutrients & nerves & extends through the tooth's root? If the pulp becomes infected or injured, the tooth's nerves die, often without endodontic treatment. In this case, the tooth would have to be removed. Root canals are designed to save such damaged teeth. During the procedure (after the tooth is numb), the diseased pulp is removed & the tooth is permanently sealed with a gold, porcelain or tooth-colored crown.
Mercury-Free DentistryWe understand your concerns regarding the use of mercury fillings. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to offer our patients the option of using advanced, new fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury, instead of traditional silver fillings.
Filtered Water LinesWe understand your concern about water quality & the importance of keeping you and your family healthy. For this reason, we utilize filtered water lines during our dental procedures. By filtering the water used in dental procedures, we are able to get rid of any substances that may compromise the health of our patients. The safety, health & dental care of patients are our top priorities. This is just another way to show how much we care!
